Jail Needs $12 Million in Repairs, Study Says

El Paso County's downtown Colorado Springs jail is so dangerous for inmates and guards that it should be shut down unless as much as $12 million is spent on repairs and improvements, a jail expert said. El Paso County commissioned the study of its downtown jail as part of a broader look at government-owned buildings. A consulting company, Robert Glass and Associates, conducted the jail evaluation.

Students at the two District 11 high schools, meanwhile, said they should be entitled to wear what they want and that being a fan of the controversial performers doesn't make a person a gangster.
