Change of Heart ; City Allows Dimes, but Not Nickels, in Parking Meters
Brother, you can spare a dime again for downtown parking meters. After a month of howling by business owners and City Council members, Colorado Springs' parking enterprise is letting people use dimes in downtown "core area" meters once more. Workers have been reprogramming meters this week and should be finished soon, parking administrator Greg Warnke said Thursday.
