Town Hall: Afp Continues Fight Against Mcevoy's 'Mcmillion'
Conventional wisdom held that Americans For Prosperity defended only the interests of the super-rich "1 percent" crowd. That mythology fell apart when the organization led a grass-roots revolt against a $1.15 million severance deal for Memorial Health System CEO Larry McEvoy. The Colorado chapter of AFP said "no way" to the get-rich-quick scheme of a well-connected CEO with friends on Memorial's board of trustees. The tireless work of AFP-Colorado Director Jeff Crank, and Deputy Director Sean...

Letters: Obama Flip-Flops; Wayne Was Right; Protect the Children; and More
Obama flip-flopping on issue I subscribe to The Gazette primarily for the local news and sports, preferring to get my national and world news from other sources. The Associated Press (AP) provides a great many of the national Gazette articles. The head of the AP, Dean Singleton, is an avowed Obama devotee and AP feeds are often biased and border on opinion. Case in point is the May 10 article entitled "Obama voices support for gay marriage." The article chronicles the president's "evolution" ...
