The 34-year-old man caught by a police dog and arrested early Thursday on suspicion of carjacking has been linked to three Wednesday robberies, said Colorado Springs police spokesman Sgt. Darrin Abbink.
Vernon McKinnie was arrested just after 4:30 a.m. Thursday when a Colorado Springs police officer spotted a stolen Volvo near Fountain and Academy boulevards.
