The 5A-4A Colorado Springs girls squad saw its rally fall short against Southern Colorado in a 54-49 loss Saturday at the Challenge II underclassmen All-Star basketball showcase in the Palmer gym.
Colorado Springs trailed 36-21 with 5:37 left in the third when it mounted an 18-3 run to tie the score at 39 early in the fourth. With the score later tied at 44, Southern Colorado, made up of underclassmen standouts from Pueblo and Cheyenne Mountain, went on a 10-5 run over the final 4:50 to win.See the full content of this document
