Firefighters in Black Forest doused a wind-driven blaze that burned down a barn and came within feet of a home amid red-flag weather conditions Thursday.
The fire broke out about 12:20 p.m. in the 12000 block of Holmes Road, blackening grassy fields near Black Forest and Shoup roads.
