Broncos Training Camp ; at a Glance

Summary

ENGLEWOOD -- Denver Broncos third-round pick Jeremy LeSueur has had a rough start to training camp. LeSueur is listed as a fourth- string cornerback on the Broncos' depth chart, and that list doesn't include injured starter Lenny Walls. LeSueur is working behind undrafted free agent rookie Roc Alexander (Wasson) and rookie fifth- round pick Jeff Shoate, among others.

"(He's) struggling," defensive coordinator Larry Coyer said. "But he's going to have to fight through it. That's his lot in life. He's coming, he's developing, but this thing is fast." Coyer said LeSueur was having trouble adjusting to playing man-to-man coverage after he played mostly zone at Michigan. During Friday morning's practice, LeSueur was beat by Atnaf Harris in the end zone on a post route. Later in an 11-on-11 drill, he was beat deep by rookie Triandos Luke. "At first it was hard," LeSueur said. "I'm starting to pick it up now. It's coming along. It's not easy, it's a different adjustment, but you have to keep working hard."
