Colorado College right wing Jimmy Kilpatrick served a one-game suspension Saturday for the spearing penalty he received in the third period of Friday's game.
Spearing is "stabbing an opponent with the point of the stick blade while the stick is being carried by one or both hands," according to the NCAA Ice Hockey Rules and Interpretations book. The penalty automatically carries a one-game disqualification.See the full content of this document
