"Chihuly at the Colorado Springs Fine Arts Center" closed Sunday after a 16-week run, and the only thing that wasn't broken was a piece of the world-renowned artist's glass.

With 77,197 visitors between its April 21 opening and Aug. 14 closing, the in-depth look at work by Seattle glass artist Dale Chihuly broke all the center's attendance records. Lines extended out the front door the closing weekend; about 4,100 people visited on the final Saturday, which officials said may be the busiest day in the center's 69-year history.
