Temple Shalom officials said Wednesday that they don't believe anti-Semites committed the recent vandalism in Evergreen Cemetery, even though most of the damage was in the Jewish section.
"It appears the tombstones were just toppled off their bases. There was no indication it was anti-Semitic but just an act of vandalism," said Jerry Proctor, who oversees the temple's buildings and grounds. "You would see something far more than what we have out there" if it were anti-Semitic.See the full content of this document
