DENVER - The good news for the Denver Nuggets on Tuesday night after a 95-91 loss to the New Jersey Nets was that power forward Kenyon Martin left Pepsi Center wearing a John Elway throwback jersey, perhaps a hint of his growing affinity for all things Colorado.

Martin, a restricted free agent after this season, could be on the Nuggets' wish list this summer. And as he overpowered Denver with 12 points in the fourth quarter, the 18,004 fans in attendance saw why investing some of the Nuggets' $22 million in salary cap space on Martin might be a good move.
