Wind gusts reaching 40 mph caused headaches Saturday for Pine Creek's pitchers and outfielders as the Eagles were torched for 12 runs, including six off three homers, in the first two innings of a 17-6 defeat to Ponderosa in the loser's bracket of the state tournament.
