Tae Fugate and Reese Lundgren are here because their wives signed them up. Chris and Judi Wright are having a couple's day outing. Peg Houk is here because she is going on vacation and wants to have meals available for her husband while she's away. Lori Woshner and her 11-year-old daughter, Stephanie, are here because Stephanie likes to cook and wants to help put dinner on the table (and what parent wouldn't love that?).

We're all at a new business in Monument called What About Dinner?, owned by Claudia Russon and her brother, Luis Fierro, and we're here to make ourselves a mess of entrees.

Easy Dozen ; Assembly-Line Businesses Make Cooking Easy -- And Fun

Why not just stay at home and cook in our own kitchens? How's this for an answer: This place does all the messy, tedious, time- consuming work. They plan the menus, come up with the recipes, buy the ingredients and do the cutting, slicing and dicing. And -- hallelujah -- they do the cleaning. All we have to do is show up, then tote our prepared dishes home to freeze for later or bake right away....
