Neighborhood polling places might fade away in Colorado elections as officials across the state consider switching to centralized vote centers.

Vote centers are different mainly because a voter can cast a ballot at any of a few dozen locations instead of a single polling place. El Paso County might switch as soon as the November election, replacing 185 polling places with 34 vote centers. A volunteer committee is studying the issue.
