Funeral Home Faces Foreclosure After Alleged Employee Theft

Summary

Cappadona Funeral Home faces the loss of its building in a foreclosure auction Wednesday in the wake of an alleged employee theft that left the business without enough cash to keep up payments on a $1.42 million loan.

Co-owner Paula Cappadona said the funeral home is prepared to move to another location if negotiations with Texas-based American Bank of Commerce to avert the foreclosure are unsuccessful.
