SPOKANE, Wash. - Air Force left Spokane Arena on Saturday evening angry, frustrated and inspired after absorbing its first loss of the year: a 59-57 setback to Montana in the Cougar Hispanic College Fund Challenge.

The Falcons were angry at officials after several controversial calls in the game's final minute. They were frustrated at themselves for missing 6 of 15 free throws, blowing nine layups -- five of which were uncontested, according to coach Jeff Reynolds -- and playing an uninspired first half that put them in a double-digit hole.
