Colorado Springs officials are looking for ways to improve safety at a troublesome railroad crossing after two truck-train collisions in less than three months.

Monday, a tractor-trailer trying to cross the tracks on Royer Street high-centered -- the underside of the trailer got stuck on the steep grade of the tracks -- and was hit by a train, said Lt. James Eddy of the Colorado Springs Fire Department.
