The Air Force Academy will begin training cadets this summer on resisting enemy forces if they're taken hostage, reinstating a program that was discontinued in 1995 amid claims it had led to sexual abuse.

Superintendent Lt. Gen. John Regni outlined the training effort Thursday in a meeting with the academy Board of Visitors, a civilian panel that advises the academy.
