Around this time of year, when the sun can fry the earth a few degrees beyond bearable, people begin to hanker for a nice, tall glass of something on the rocks.

To meet that need and following an industry trend, two area ice makers have united to cool residents of Colorado Springs and beyond. All Seasons Ice formed this February from a merger between Tour Ice, 4325 Northpark Drive in Colorado Springs, and Ready's Ice Co., 211 Water St. in Caon City.
