Iss to Hire Software Engineers for New Task Order

Intelligent Software Solutions has been awarded a $49.9 million task order by the Air Force Research Labs to expand the use of its intelligence gathering and analysis software with U.S. Central Command and several other federal agencies.

The Colorado Springs-based military contractor plans to hire up to 25 software engineers immediately to complete the contract and may hire up to 50 more by September if it receives three or four other task orders and contracts on which it is bidding, ISS CEO Jay Jesse said. The company employs nearly 400 in the Springs and another 200 elsewhere, including trainers in Afghanistan and Iraq that help military commands and government agencies learn to use the company's software.
