A Colorado Springs man who at 15 killed his mother in 1988 is now eligible for an earlier parole because Gov. Bill Owens on Saturday granted him a limited commutation.

Charles Limbrick Jr., 33, was sentenced in 1989 to life in prison for first-degree murder for shooting his 42-year-old mom after she came home from her job as a school bus driver.
