Lindy Orist is a master of reinventing herself.
On a whim and out of boredom, she and her mother decided to open a fruit-flower shop they called The Pineapple Daisy. Since neither knew a thing in the world about making edible fruit baskets, they went to Philadelphia to take a class with James Parker, who had been a chef at the White House.
