ENGLEWOOD - Now that Brandon Marshall has made it clear he isn't happy with the Denver Broncos by missing a mandatory minicamp Friday, the question becomes: What happens next?

Broncos coach Josh McDaniels would not specify why Marshall was unhappy, but his contract is a likely reason. He has one year remaining on his rookie contract, with a $2.198 million base salary. Marshall also said on his Web site recently that a hip injury was misdiagnosed by the Broncos after two magnetic resonance imaging tests last season. He had hip surgery this offseason.
