Rampart boys' basketball coach Dan McKiernan is within seven victories of joining the exclusive 500-victory club.

There are four Colorado high school coaches with at least 500 victories: Denver Christian's Dick Katte, Ridgway's Steve Hill, Denver East's Rudy Cary and Evangelical Christian Academy's Dennis Bruns. Katte and Hill are retired. Steamboat Springs' Kelly Meek needs two wins to reach the 500 mark.
