AURORA - Doherty athletic director Chris Noll was glad to see the Colorado High School Activities Association Board of Control vote against a l l o w i n g coach-player contact on Sundays. But when the c o m m i t t e e voted to allow teams to practice during winter break, well that just made his day.

"I was shocked winter break was overturned. I'm very, very excited about it, but I was s u r p r i s e d ," Noll said after Thursday's meeting at the Red Lion Southeast Hotel. "I think it's very good for the kids."
