Nellie Lucille Bronson, 91, of Colorado Springs, CO passed away on June 9, 2004. Nellie was born on May 6, 1913 to Dorothy Bangle and Gerald Sewell in Lucerne, Kansas. Nellie was raised in Nederland, CO and attended the Nederland Public Schools. She married Eber Richard Bronson on October 28, 1933. She and her family moved from Boulder to Colorado Springs in 1949, where Nellie worked at the Broadmoor Hotel in the dry cleaning service. She later worked as a proof reader for Shepard's Citation Publishing. She then went into Civil Service and served first at Ent Air Force Base and then at NORAD.
She will be lovingly remembered for her fondness of song, love of travel, and a passion for Square Dancing. Her family always came first. Nellie was preceded in death by her parents, her brother Ralph and her husband, Eber. She is survived by her daughter, Darlene (Clifford) Howe; and son Paul (Donna) Bronson; seven grandchildren: Robi Callaghan, Scott Howe, Kristie McGaugh, Andrea White, Holly Black, Cyrus Bronson and Ciara Bronson; ten great grandchildren; and two sisters: Ruby Jackson and Geraldine (Gerald) Mordhorst.See the full content of this document
