Hunter Kemper always races with a purpose, intent on finishing every triathlon he starts. Now, he's competing for a cause, in a fight against a deadly disease that attacks kids.

The Olympic Training Center resident generated more than $2,700 Friday for a charitable foundation helping Americans who suffer from a rare condition causing progressive loss of muscle control, immune difficulties and a high rate of cancer, with a behind-the-scenes tour and dinner at the OTC, as well as a speech to a throng of triathlon event organizers.
