Dr. Robert Wayne Presley, 45, devoted husband and father, passed away July 25, 2004. He was born July 26, 1958 in Dayton, Ohio to Bobby and Audrey Smith Presley. Dr. Presley graduated from Mount Vernon High School in Alexandria, VA. He attended undergraduate school at the University of Colorado and Texas A&M where he graduated with a degree in Anthropology. He earned his medical degree from Southwestern Medical School in Dallas, TX. Dr. Presley served his internship at Parkland Hospital in Dallas, TX in Internal Medicine. He conducted his residency in Anesthesia at the University of California - San Francisco. He studied in pain management under Dr. Michael Cousins at Flinders University in Adelaide, S. Australia. Dr. Presley returned to the University of California - San Francisco as a faculty member in the Department of Anesthesia. He later established a practice in Pain Management at Good Samaritan Hospital in San Jose, CA. Dr. Presley relocated with his family to Colorado Springs in 1999, where he established Pain Care Specialists, a practice in pain management. He was a member of First Presbyterian Church and the El Paso Club.
He is survived by his loving wife, Priscilla Douglas Presley and his three children, Ryan, Kristin and Michael; his father, Maj. Gen. Bobby W. Presley (USAF Ret.) and wife, Karen of Texas; maternal grandmother, Margaret Adrian Smith of Pennsylvania; a brother, Randy Presley and wife, Kelly of Texas; a sister, Robin Presley Skogg and husband, Tim of Texas; a brotherin-law, Tony Douglas and wife Kathryn of Texas; sisters-in-law, Deborah Johnson and husband, Sam and Elizabeth Keef and husband, Joe Lozano of Texas; an uncle, Charles Presley and wife, Gay of Arkansas; and numerous cousins, nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews.
