December snowstorms in Colorado Springs have pushed the city's snow-removal budget to its limit, raising the possibility that the city's Street Division might have to ask for more money before the new budget year begins Jan. 1.

"We're hopeful that won't happen -- if Mother Nature cooperates," said Bill Moritz, a program supervisor for the agency.
