Police say they arrested Colorado Springs man this morning after he threatened officers with a three-foot sword at the Verde Meadows Apartments, 1450 S. Chelton Road.

Bradon Birdwell, 30, was cuffed after allegedly unsheathing the sword when contacted by firefighters and police, police said.
