Surgery a Success for Tigers' Forward

Colorado College freshman forward Andreas Vlassopoulos won't skate for at least six weeks after successful arthroscopic surgery Wednesday to repair ligaments in his right knee.

Vlassopoulos said doctors loosened one ligament, tightened two others and also recentered his knee. The operation was performed by Thomas Mahoney, the team's top orthopedic surgeon.
