MANKATO, Minn. - Another pair of quick strikes Friday enabled Colorado College to pick up a pair of points in its Western Collegiate Hockey Association opener.

Center Marty Sertich and defenseman Brian Salcido scored in a 47- second span before Aaron Slattengren and Brandon Polich scored in a 27-second span as the No. 2 Tigers beat Minnesota State 5-0 before 3,470 at the Midwest Wireless Civic Center.
