DENVER - Air Force center Nick Welch did not need a cortisone shot in his sprained middle toe before Thursday's Mountain West Conference Tournament quarterfinal game against San Diego State.
The junior took a cortisone shot before Saturday's game against Wyoming. He was able to practice this week despite the injured toe on his right foot, which he hurt in a win over San Diego State last week.See the full content of this document
