DENVER - The computer company that made Colorado's troubled system for managing welfare cases will provide new equipment by Monday to triple the system's speed.

Gov. Bill Owens said Friday that the company, Electronic Data Systems, will provide 12 computer processors without increasing the price for a system that took nine years to develop and cost taxpayers $199 million.
