Summary


Tiffany came from a world foreign to most of the 850 men and women at Thursday's CASA (Court Appointed Special Advocates) Light of Hope breakfast. No one else in the Antlers Hilton ballroom had, as a 9-year-old, been made responsible for raising three younger siblings, discovered an infant sister dead, been left alone while their mother was out partying with her boyfriend.

People enjoyed pastries, frittatas and yogurt parfaits, but Tiffany recalled mornings when the only things she could find to feed her brother and sister was raw bacon or spoonfuls of mayonnaise.
